Up to 5 temperature/time profiles can be programmed into the unit, as many as 10 steps each, with the ability to continuously loop the program
Resolution of 1°C, temperature range from -10°C to 100°C (-20°C to 100°C on the XT model)
Two-line, alphanumeric display and touchpad arrows control all functions and settings, including programming steps
Units are factory calibrated and can be recalibrated in the field
Built-in timer can be set to shut off the unit upon completion
Data-logging function records actual plate temperature at intervals of 1 second, 1 minute, or 5 minutes
RS232 I/O port allows connection to a PC terminal for serial command control (ASCII) or downloading collected data
Buffer light flashes when collecting a data point and glows solid when the data-logger reaches capacity
Universal 12VDC power supply can be connected to any suitable source, including the one found in your vehicle
Optional aluminum blocks are black anodized for better heat transfer and protection from spills, with the bottoms of the blocks machined to nest onto the plate to prevent movement
Applications: Initiating or halting reactions through temperature changes; preventing denaturation of enzymes; storing reagents at safe temperatures near the workspace; eliminating the need for ice buckets
