Compact size and solid-state, Peltier-type temperature control plate takes up very little bench space and makes the unit transportable
Samples collected in the field can be transported at stable temperatures via the 12-volt DC adapter cable
Aluminum plate rapidly reaches the desired temperature within a few minutes when unloaded
Flat contact area provides even heating, with minimal temperature variability
Two-line alphanumeric digital display, backlit for easy reading, shows the target and actual temperatures
Digital control from -10°C to 100°C (-20°C to 100°C on the XT model)
Built-in functions include data logging and countdown timer (up to 30 days) with audible alarm and Auto-Off
RS232 I/O port allows for remote monitoring when connected to a network
Internal fan dissipates heat build-up within the unit during cooling cycles
Optional aluminum blocks are black anodized for better heat transfer and protection from spills, with the bottoms of the blocks machined to nest onto the plate to prevent movement
Applications: enzyme reactions and deactivations; substitute for an ice bucket; temporary storage of DNA or other biological materials at the workstation; sample incubation or freezing
